Visit to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Miami Branch

On september 27th, he members of the SACCFL were offered the opportunity to visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Miami Branch in Doral.

It was a unique experience that started with an economic discussion led by Shari Bower, Vice President and Regional Executive and ended with a visit of the Fed’s cash operation. The timing couldn’t be better after the pandemic and with inflation figures on the rise. Shari and her team delivered some insights about the Fed’s job and the key indicators it is watching in an effort to navigate the so-called ‘soft landing’.

We had the exclusive opportunity to visit the Fed’s cash operation and a ‘tour of the vault’ where we saw (and smelled) a shocking amount of money. Truly an experience only a few people get to have.
